Lopez Valdivia is a master in plant biotechnology graduated from CINVESTAV and currently studying for his Ph.D. at Penn State University under the advisory of Jonathan Lynch. His main focus is modeling the effect of domestication in the corn root system to get insights about its usefulness for crop improvement.
