Megan Leigh Matthews is an Assistant Professor of Civil & Environmental Engineering at the University of Illinois. She received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State. She received her Doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University with her dissertation on multi-scale modeling of lignin biosynthesis and other wood properties in Populus trichocarpa.
