Bin Peng

Bin Peng

Bin Peng is a postdoctoral researcher focusing on agroecosystem modeling. He received his Ph.D. degree from Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2016, and B.S. degree from Nanjing University in 2011. His research domain is earth surface systems science, where he is actively pursuing deeper understanding of land-atmosphere interactions, terrestrial water-carbon-nutrient cycles, water and food security, and environmental sustainability under climate change and land use intensification. He uses interdisciplinary approaches to tackle these complex problems, including process-based modeling, remote sensing, and data assimilation/model-data integration. He is postdoctoral research associate with Dr. Kaiyu Guan.
